Model 502UF U.V. flashlight

This item is a 3-mode brightness ( high, medium, low ) U.V.A. ultraviolet flashlight.  It uses the same rechargeable 18650 lithiun-ion battery and charger.  UV photos are difficult to capture with a digital camera since the camera's photo-detector array is very sensitive to the UV wavelength ( 365 & 395 nm. available ).  I have set the flashlight to low power for the following pictures.

U.V. flashlights are useful for illuminating paper currency security strips, driver's license security strips, insect infestations in roses and fruit trees, evidence of unwanted animal urine, phosphorescent diamonds - (a certain percentage of diamonds glow under U.V. light- this is due to more impurities in the diamond making them less desireable than non-phosphorescent ones), and probably most importantly - automotive and HVAC leak detection dyes.  Automobile radiator fluid glows green when illuminated, oils - transmission fluids - air-conditioning coolants with dyes added will glow where leaks are present.
