FalconFire handheld white light flashlight
"Triple Threat" 3 L.E.D. high intensity waterproof flashlight. Part number is T-THR-F.
Here is our waterproof - 3-L.E.D. flashlight ( part number T-THR-F ) - it costs double what the C8F does, but puts out over double the light output - approximately 2,000 lumens. It has a broader beam which makes it ideal for illuminating wide areas. But, it is so bright that its ability to project massive amounts of light into the distance is nothing short of amazing. It does not have preset power settings as the other lights do, rather, there is a sliding thumb switch on it which allows for a more evenly variable brightness. Lower power settings allow for longer run times.
The "Triple Threat" draws about 2.4 amps of current from the two rechargeable batteries ( 7.4 volts ) for a total of 19 watts of electrical consumption. Remember, 19 watts usage from an older style incandescent bulb would be rather dim due to most of the watts consumed (80%) are producing heat and the other 20% is light. L.E.D.'s wattage consumption goes mostly towards producing light, with a much lesser amount going to heat.
The threaded fittings are double O-Ring protected rather than the standard single O-Ring construction. This light is powered by 2 #18650 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries - each with an "over discharge" protection circuit board included within. This flashlight still draws a tiny amount of battery power when the slide switch is "off", so be sure to twist "open" the battery end cap about a quarter turn to break the connection. Test by thumbing the slide switch up - no light should appear.
